From as early on as I can remember, writing stories has been a passion of mine. In elementary school, I would spend day after day creating "books" and then begging my teachers to let me read them in front of the class. Of course, how can a teacher say no to that? So, I quickly became known as "that teacher's pet who is always reading poorly written and illustrated stories to us." It was awesome.
I don't remember much else, except I do vaguely remember that my stories were for some reason usually about Garfield. I'm not sure why.
Fast forward lots of years, various jobs, a husband, and three children later, and I'm back at it again. As much as life tried to keep me and writing books apart, there's just too much of a magnetic pull there.
So, I'm jumping in with both feet and look very much forward to once again being known as a writer...only I'm betting my stories are slightly better written than they were in elementary school. One can hope.
Thanks for joining me on my journey!
